And here's where I learned a sharp
illustration lesson. See that first picture - the cover
illustration - my first version of that had a few
goslings scuttling around the floor. The publisher
pointed out that the text clearly says that Jack
removes all the goose eggs before replacing them with
the ostrich egg. So NO goslings... and I had to do
the whole drawing again. Took two or three days.
